Maison Fauve - Prose DRESS

The PROSE dress is a little sewing gem: the bodice creates the illusion of a beautifully low-cut, button-front blouse and is also available in a sleeveless version for sunnier days. The pleated skirt features a carefully constructed combination of darts and pleats, with large slanted Italian pockets for added comfort, while the panelled design allows you to play with different lengths and fabrics. The pattern gives you the choice of making either the dress or the skirt. And to make the design easier to sew, you simply pull on the dress thanks to its elasticated back waistband. The elastic does not extend around to the front, ensuring the dress is as flattering as it is comfortable.

Sewing Level: INTERMEDIATE, the main techniques involved are assembling the polo-style placket, attaching bias binding, sewing a slanted pocket, setting in sleeves and sewing cuffs with a bound sleeve placket.

The margins of seams are included and are 1cm.
